The Versatile Blogger Award
As I sat down at my laptop to vent some rather pent-up emotions, I recieved a notification telling me that I had been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award. Being as I have only been blogging since early March, I had no earthly inkling as to what on this green earth that was or what all it entitled. After some research, I am know ecstatic to recieve this honor. I would like to thank Whatsitallaboutandotherstories for nominating me and taking the time to actually read my posts on here. I created this blog with the goal of not only finding some hope for my own recovery/discovering who I am, but more importantly to reach out to others, inspire them, and let them know that they are never alone, no matter the situation. The amount of support, encouragement, and feedback that I have recieved on here in such a short duration of time is absolutely phenomenal. I am grateful from the deepest part of my being.
In compliance with the rules of VBA, I would know like to present my 15 nominations. These people are all truly amazing in their own way, and I enjoy reading what they write every day. Honesty, fear, anger, joy, compassion–the amount of emotion and complexity behind the words they type is a source of inspiration, encouragement, strength, admiration, and even sometimes a much needed laugh. My nominees are:

Are You Meant for Something Better?
And now, as part of the rules, seven things about myself:
1. I am a study-o-holic. It’s all I do. While other seventeen year old’s biggest decision on a Friday night is ‘movies or bowling?’ I am spending my time memorizing every enzyme that is required for the Calvin Cyle to occur (and yes, I do actually enjoy learning)
2. I am definitely not a country girl. Although born in Texas, everyone who knows me agrees that I am a Northner at heart.
3. I have a fascination with owls, jellyfish, and nature.
4. I am an environmentalist, but not too extreme.
5. I love antiques and anything Victorian era-style–my favorite time period.
6. When I see someone smile and I know that I helped to put that smile there, the feeling that I get from that is the most amazing, indescribable emotion ever.
7. I am very big into charities and non-profit organizations. I love volunteering.
Once again, thank you What’sitallaboutandotherstories for this lovely award, and all of my fellow bloggers for taking the time to welcome me into this community.
