Day One: Overcoming my Technologically-Impairment to Save a Life.

“Destroy what destroys you.”

-Unknown

Those words are what I live by. Written on my wrist each day, they serve as my reminder to keep on fighting. I’m pretty stoked to have created this blog (and pretty dang proud, considering I thought a “widget” was something off of Harry Potter..) I’m a writer and that’s what I do. I write in the morning, I write in the evening, I write in the bathtub, I even write while grocery shopping. Without writing, I wouldn’t be here, as it is what has helped me to keep fighting all these years. Unfortunately, I will admit that  at the present time, I have been very sick for quite a while. I am literally at rock bottom, the worse I have ever been, which is what inspired me to start what you are reading now. I hope that with this, not only can I come to terms with the broken person I am at the moment and finally begin my road of recovery again, but also reach out to others and give them a sense of hope. You are not alone and whatever your struggles may be, your story DOES matter . And this is the place for you to share it. Feel free to share your encouragement and stories on here, as I will be doing the same.

    • Thank you very much. I look forward to following your journey as well, and thank you for being interested in following mine. It means a lot. I have never heard that quote, but I must say that I agree; writing takes an immense amount of courage, expecially when one writes so personally.

  2. Candace I’m real glad you started this blog, definitely going to be interesting. I’m sure you’ll really enjoy it as well!
